Executive Director

Living proofMervin Miller serves as the Executive Director for Mechanicsburg for a Healthy Community. He has led the jail ministry at the Tri-County Jail for over 10 years and is looking forward to working with other organizations and people within the community in order to bring freedom from addiction to others suffering from the effects of drugs and alcohol. As a former alcoholic, as well as someone who was using a lot of drugs, Mervin wants to be able to dedicate the remainder of his life to let others know that there is hope and help.
Mervin also purchased the old “Beans and Cream” building in November that is located in Mechanicsburg, Ohio. It has five apartments and he and his wife Tammy occupy one of those. It also has four retail spaces and the Millers are hoping to have a coffee shop, bakery, and artisan market up and running in November of 2018. The primary goal for purchasing the building is to have it provide income in order to work with those struggling with addictions. He wants to focus on Christ-centered treatment and wholeheartedly believes that data shows that Christ-centered counseling yields much more success than traditional programs. Mervin is also living proof of this. |
